Solution:

The given divide fraction are `547/46` by `651/50`

To divide two fractions use the following formula

`(a/b)/ (c/d)` =`(axxd)/(bxxc)`

By comparing the rules and the given fraction we get a=547,b=46c=651d=50

`(a/b)/ (c/d)` = `(547/46)/(651/50)`

`(axxd)/(bxxc)` =`(547xx50)/(46xx651)`

=`27350/29946`

= `13675/14973`

Solved old math problem 2

Change the improper fraction number 5 `7/8` and 6 `9/8`

Solution:

The given improper fraction is 5 `7/8` and 6 `9/8`

We need to convert improper fraction

The formula is to improper fraction is follows

`ab/c` = `(axxc+b)/c`

a=5 b=7 c=8

=` (5xx8+7)/8`

=` 47/8`

a=6 b=9 c=8

=`(6xx8+9)/8`

=`57/8`

Given we need to multiply the fractions `47/8 ` and `57/8`

The above fractions can be multiplied using the formula `(axxc)/(bxxd).`

Here a = 47, b = 8, c= 57, d= 8.

=` (axxc)/(bxxd) ` =`(47xx57)/(8xx8)` By solving it we get

=`2679/64`

Multiply the fraction `250/5` and `270/6`

Solution:-

Given we need to multiply fractions `250/5` and `270/6`

Fractions have to multiplied using the formula `(axxc)/(bxxd)` .

Here a = 250, b = 5, c= 270, d= 6.

=` (axxc)/(bxxd) ` =`(250xx270)/(5xx6)` by solving it we get

=`67500/30`

Find the area of the square if the length of the side measures 2 feet

Solution:

The formula to find area of square is

Area = a2

A=length of the side

Area =22

= 4 square feet

So the area of the given square is 4 square feet

Solution: We have

A n B={1,3,5,7,9} n {2,4,6,8}=F

and A nC={1,3,5,7,9} n {2,3,5,7,11}={3,5,7}=F

Thus ,A and B are disjoint sets while A and C are intersecting sets.

Solve `5 / 100`

Solution:

Given that `5 / 100`

The question define 5 divided by 100

So a number 5 has been divided by 100

=` 5 / 100`

Simplify that `5 / 100` . Numerator and denominator have been cancelled by 5.

Divide the `5 / 100` = 0.05

= 0.05

So the answer will be = 0.05.
