Number Theory Fraction

Introduction to number theory fraction:

Number theory fraction is one of the stem of the math; here we are going to study for the most part about the numbers and fractions. ‘Two’ is a number in name and we use the numeral to denote it is‘1’. In ancient times, to denote the numerals different symbols were used in different parts of the world. But the present system is depends on ten numerals 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 which is universally accepted. All numbers are assembled under the real numbers.In this article we are going to see a lot of examples on number theory fraction.

Number Theory Fraction:

In math number theory includes the following types

Algebraic Number Theory

Greatest common division Number Theory.

Arithmetic Functions Number Theory

Combinatorial Number Theory

Binomial Coefficients Number Theory

Quadratic Residues Number Theory

Multiplicative Number Theory

Fraction:

Fraction is defined as the part of the given whole number.Let us take an example,the fraction of 3 from 4 can be written as 3/4.where 3 is a numerator and 4 is a denominator Fraction can be classified as follows,

Improper Fraction.
Proper fraction.

For improper fraction numerator must be >=denominator.

For improper fraction numerator must be < denominator.

Adding fractions:

To add two fractions with the similar denominator, add the numerators first and then put that sum above the common denominator.

To add two fractions with the dissimilar denominator.

Get the Least Common Denominator.

Rename the fractions to get Least Common Denominator.

Sum the numerators of the given fractions.

Make the Fraction simpler.

Subctracting fractions:

To subtract two fractions with the similar denominator, subtract the numerators first and then place that difference above the common denominator.

To subtract two fractions with the dissimilar denominator

Get the Least Common Denominator.

Rename the fractions to get Least Common Denominator.

Subtract the numerators of the given fractions

Make the Fraction simpler

Dividing fractions:

Invert the denominator fraction and multiply the fractions

Multiply the numerators of the given fractions

Multiply the denominators of the given fractions

Place the product of the numerators above the product of the denominators

Simplify.

Multiplying Fractions:

Multiply the numerators of the given fractions

Multiply the denominators of the given fractions

Place the product of the numerators above the product of the denominators

Simplify.
